The consortium members will engage in the following main objectives, involving students, academic and non-academic staff, companies, start-ups, regional business development agencies, and public administration.
Development of Innovation Hubs to foster innovation between companies and HEIs
Institutionalization of multidisciplinary Innovation Hubs at each of the 6 regions where HEIs are located. Development of structures and supporting guidelines for the regional innovation hubs and to carry out pilot tests beds at each location.
Strengthening quadruple helix collaborations through challenge-based (CB) innovation approach
To merge the CB approach developed in the ECIU University Alliance project with the experiences of KICs partners to gather quadruple helix stakeholders to tackle complex global challenges faced by society.
Enhancing networking and mutual learning through exchange good practices (KIC and non-KIC partners)
Exchange of good practices between project partners, KICs partners, non-KICs partners and other innovation stakeholders
Improving teaching and learning assessment for better I&E education
Integration of summative and formative evaluation to evaluate learners. Feedback from learners and peer evaluation will be implemented to evaluate teaching.
Academy for entrepreneurial leadership development
Establishment of an Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership development to serve as a European model in providing practical skills for students, faculties and professionals.
