BOOstinG Innovation and Entrepreneurship through European Universities
BOOGIE-U will establish hybrid, digitally-enabled spaces, named “Innovation Hubs” in each HEIs. They will allow communities to collaborate across boundaries as well as to bring together already existing, related but fragmented activities present in each partner while creating a playground for solving multi-disciplinary societal challenges deeply embedded in each regions’ Smart Specialisation Strategy
BOOGIE-U in 2030 will be a space – in synergy with ECIU University and the KICs – where communities of practice flourish around urgent and relevant societal topics, such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to help Europe achieve sustainable economic growth.
BOOGIE-U will contribute to EU efforts to boost EU sustainable economic growth and competitiveness by executing novel models for increasing Innovation and Entrepreneurial (I&E) capacity within the consortium by:
BOOGIE-U wants to align the experiences and competencies acquired by the three KIC partners in cutting edge I&E Education to the model of Challenge-Based Innovation explored by the ECIU University alliance.
